Enrichment Academy Program Information

An important part of the philosophy of The Burlington Academy of Learning focuses on support of the family, and in doing so recognizes the need and desire for programs that extend beyond the academic day program schedule. To fulfill this need, we offer extended hours through our Before School and After School Programs, and are open 6:30am-6:30pm.

If your child is in grades Kindergarten through 6th Grade at the public school (Lake Garda, Harwinton Consolidated or Har-Bur Middle School), you will need to register your child each school year for the Before and/or After School Programs. Children who are registered with us, may use these programs regularly on specific days, every day Monday-Friday, or on an “as needed” basis.

LOCATION:

3 Year Old Nursery School, PreKindergarten, Jr. Kindergarten, Kindergarten Before School Program is held in The Preschool & Kindergarten Academy Building, which is the building to the right as you pull into the main entrance. You will enter through the middle door on the porch.

1st- 6th Grade Before School Program is held in The Preschool & Kindergarten Academy Building, which is the building to the right as you pull into the main entrance. You will enter through the door farthest to the right on the porch.

Our Daily School-Age Program provides students with a certified teacher to assist each child with their distance learning requirements, as well as provides all the complementary components of a well-rounded school day including Art, Music, Science, Spanish and Physical Education! Our School-Age Program is held in our Enrichment Academy building.

ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL FLAG COLORS:

To facilitate a smoother arrival and/or pick-up, parents drop-off and/or pick up children at the playground or at the classroom where their child's programs' flag is.

YELLOW: 3 Year Old Nursery School Program

GREEN: PreKindergarten

RED: Jr. Kindergarten/Kindergarten/Kindergarten Enrichment

BLUE: 1st Grade - 4th Grade

PURPLE: 5th/6th Grade
