Under the visionary leadership of Kim Hope, Bright Beginnings Nursery School was established in 1992 for two-year-old children. The school's rapid growth and success led to the opening of The Burlington Academy of Learning in 1997. This expansion marked a significant milestone in our journey, culminating in our move to our current location in Burlington, CT. This growth is a testament to our commitment to providing a unique and enriching experience for all the children in our programs.

Analía Ozano, a seasoned professional, has been a part of The Academy since 2014. Her love for languages, children, and teaching brought her to us, where she has been leading our Kindergarten Academy as the Bilingual Montessori Head Teacher. Four years ago, she took on the significant responsibility of Dean of School, overseeing all BAL curriculum, students, and family communications. Her journey with us has been transformative, shaping her into the capable leader she is today, our Head of School.
Carly DeLeon
Pre-School/ Kindergarten Academy Administrator

Since joining the Academy four years ago, Ms. Carly has made a significant impact. As one of our administrators, she oversees all daily administrative operations of our Preschool and Kindergarten Academy programs. Her dedication and leadership have not gone unnoticed, and she is now a well-known and beloved figure in our BAL community, appreciated by students, families, and teachers.
Tarynn Sigmon
Junior Academy Administrator

Ms.Tarynn, a seasoned professional in Early Childhood Education, started her tenure at BAL as our Waddler Head Teacher program. Her exceptional leadership skills and passion for the school's administration quickly propelled her to our Junior Academy Administrator role.
Tarynn's overseer the Infant, Waddler, and Toddler programs. Her deep-rooted love for The Academy and her unwavering dedication to Its success make her an invaluable member of our outstanding administration team.
