Infant and Waddler Program
Ages: 6 Weeks–18 Months
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–6:00pm
Options: Half Day or Full Day
The Burlington Academy of Learning's Infant and Waddler Programs provide a nurturing, loving, and stimulating environment for children ages 6 weeks through 18 months. We feel privileged to partner with families to provide the very best care, consistency, and support during these important early years.
Our programs follow Connecticut's Early Learning and Development Standards (CTELDS) and are designed to support each child's intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development. Through caring relationships, exploration, and play-based learning, children build confidence, develop new skills, and begin to discover the world around them.

Learning Through Play
Children spend their awake time enjoying books, puzzles, puppets, music, dramatic play, sensory activities, art experiences, play mats, and gross motor activities. Through these experiences, children develop creativity, socialization skills, problem-solving abilities, and meaningful connections with their caregivers and teachers.
As children grow, they are encouraged to develop independence and responsibility through simple classroom routines, including helping to clean up after activities and caring for their environment.
A Partnership with Families
We recognize that parents are a child's first and most important teachers. Our goal is to work closely with families to provide consistency between home and school, ensuring that each child receives the individualized care, encouragement, and support they need to thrive.
