As new Early Childhood Education research continues to prove the importance and criticality of education during the early years, we find the needs of the young child have increased. Therefore, we continue to offer a high level of excellence in our programs to adequately nourish children at their present stage of life and prepare them for Kindergarten and the years beyond.Our faculty is educated on all the Connecticut State Department of Education Early Learning Developmental Standards, the standards for early childhood education. Our teachers are also CPR, First Aid, Medications administration, and Epi-pen administration certified.

The Academy's exceptional curriculum focuses on the vital components of healthy social and emotional development,and early intellectual and literacy education to prepare children for the new expectations of full-day Kindergarten and beyond. Elements of our curriculum include but are not limited to: "Handwriting Without Tears," CharacterDevelopment Education, Composers of the Month, Artists of the

Month, Science, Cooking, Yoga, special visitors, and field trips. The Academy will transition to become Montessori trained with Senora Analíaa, who is an International Montessori teacher. We will provide

a Montessori approach in all classes. We are also excited to announce the addition of our weekly and monthly enrichment programs for our day students that are included in the weekly tuition. Schoolwide enrichment classes added for 23/24 are Artist of the Month with Miss Taryn, Español with Senora Analia, sign language with Mrs. Defalco, and a bi-monthly yoga class (instructor TBD). Small class size allows for the individual attention children needs. Our new infant ratio is a 3 to 1 ratio instead of the state-required 4 to 1 ratio, so we can give your babies the individual care they need. School Age enrichment programs includes Spanish and Italian classes with Senora.

Our 6-acre campus allows for plenty of learning environments with our three buildings, 8 playgrounds, and 8 outdoor classrooms. We are open from 6:30 am-6:00 pm for the convenience of families and to accommodate children for extra classes whenever we can make life easier at times when a family needs such support. We maintain superior standards and high teacher qualifications to continue offering children the absolute best early childhood experience possible in the Farmington Valley.
