The Burlington Academy of Learning welcomes and embraces all children. We work hand in hand with Special Services from area schools to meet the needs of each child and insure they receive all the services they are entitled to in the educational developmental process.

Socially and emotionally, every child grows in direct response to how they are accepted and treated. It is important to teach our children that each of us is inherently worthy and has special gifts. When a child receives love and acceptance of his/her differences, they learn that "normal" is a matter of perspective and a positive outlook will result.

We educate our students about the range of special needs of others in order to cultivate understanding, appreciation, respect, compassion and consideration for all children and adults who have special challenges.
