An important part of the philosophy of The Burlington Academy
of Learning focuses on support of the family unit, and in doing
so recognizes the need and desire for programs that extend beyond
the school-day schedule.
BEFORE SCHOOL HOURS
Our Before School Program is from 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Children may arrive at school before their morning class for
Before School Hours. Students may arrive before Elementary
School and ride the bus to Lake Garda or Harwinton Consolidated
Schools.
LUNCH BUNCH
Our Lunch Bunch Program is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Children in the morning Nursery School or Prekindergarten
classes may join us following their classes for Lunch Bunch
from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Children in afternoon Nursery
School or Prekindergarten classes may arrive at 11:30 a.m.
and join us for the Lunch Bunch prior to their classes at
12:15 p.m. Children in Lunch Bunch will have lunch, singing
and/or outside play time. Parents must call to reserve a Lunch
Bunch spot for their child and need to provide a lunch and
drink with ice pack.
AFTER SCHOOL HOURS
Our After School Program is available from 3:15 p.m. - 6:00
p.m. Parents may pick-up children at anytime in that time
frame.
The After School Program is available to all students through
4th grade. Students attending the After School Program on
a regular basis have this cost built into their monthly tuition
payment. Students attending on an impromptu basis, pay on
the day of attendance so billing is not necessary.
Children from Lake Garda Elementary and Harwinton Consolidated
Schools may ride the Region 10 Bus to the Academy for the
After School Program.
Reminder: Our Before School students are welcome to return
at 3:15 p.m. for the After School Program at any time as needed!
