2017-2018 FINANCIAL INFORMATION

  • The 2017-2018 “School Year” calendar dates are August 30, 2017 through June 8, 2018.

The 2017-2018 “Year Round” calendar dates are August 30, 2017 through August 24, 2018.

  • A one-time $100 non-refundable registration fee is required of all new students at the time of registration. 
  • A $250 non-refundable deposit is given at the time of registration to begin the enrollment process for the upcoming school year for our students enrolled in “Day Programs”.  This deposit is not an additional fee, but is deducted from the total tuition amount.
  • A $100 non-refundable deposit is given at the time of registration to begin the enrollment process for the upcoming school year for public school students enrolling in our Supplemental Programs (Before/After School Program, Homework Club, Vacation/Holiday Programs, Snow Days).  This deposit is not an additional fee but is deducted from the first invoice in September.

 

The Infant Program and Toddlers/Twos Program in our Jr. Academy, do not require a school year commitment. Parents are kindly asked to give as much notice as possible if leaving, (minimum of two weeks notice is preferred) so we may attempt to offer the space to another child which keeps enrollment steady. This prevents us from having to decrease staff hours, keeping our staffing more consistent, a very important factor for young children. 2 Year Old Nursery School - Kindergarten Programs do require a school year commitment (September -June). This policy is essential to insure the highest quality of programs and commitment to our teachers.

 

TUITION EXPRESS: For the convenience of parents and to keep administrative costs down, tuition is paid in equal monthly installments collected through Tuition Express.  These tuition payments are automatically debited from a bank account (checking or savings) or, if necessary, charged to a debit or credit card on the last day of each month.  Upon receipt of the completed program registration form with registration fee and deposit, parents receive a letter confirming their child’s registration in the program selected.  Parents also receive information on how to authorize payments through Tuition Express.  Once the registration with deposit and Tuition Express account setup is finalized, a child’s placement in their class is secured.  If you wish to change your payment method at any point in the school year, new paperwork must be submitted by the 25th of the month.

 

SIBLING DISCOUNT: The Academy offers a 5% sibling discount for both siblings, for all Day Programs with a minimum of a 2 full days/week program per sibling.  The sibling discount does not apply to single SCP days, Before/After School Programs, Homework Club, and Summer Camp (except when included in year round tuition).

 

BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS and HOMEWORK CLUB PROGRAM: Parents are required to register for each and every year since attendance details and information must be updated, and give a $100 deposit which comes off the September fees.  Upon receipt of your completed registration form with registration fee (new students) and deposit, parents receive a letter confirming their child’s registration in our Before/After School Programs and/or Homework Club.  Before and After School Program tuition is paid on a monthly basis through Tuition Express (see above). Total cost for programs attended are paid automatically through parents’ Tuition Express account on the last day of each month.

 

SUPPLEMENTAL CARE PROGRAM, SNOW DAY PROGRAM and/or EXTRA CLASSES: Payment for extra classes and our Snow Day Program are paid through Tuition Express. Payment for the Supplemental Care Program is due at the time of registration. Payments may be made by check placed in the locked boxes or you may swipe a credit card at the check-in station in the Junior Academy Office or Main Office.

 

SUMMER CAMP: Summer Camp registrations are needed by May 1st to secure excellent staff and adequately prepare for Summer Camp!  Registrations received after May 1st must include a $50 late registration fee. Tuition options are to pay in full at the time of registration or to pay 50% at time of registration and pay balance on or before June 1st. All summer camp must be paid in full prior to start of camp.

 

CARE 4 KIDS PROGRAM - The Burlington Academy participates in the State of CT “Care 4 Kids Program”. To apply, parents need to download forms from www.ctcare4kids.com and submit the completed forms to our Main Office.  We will complete the school’s section and submit to Care 4 Kids. Responses are given to both the school and parents. Care 4 Kids does not cover the entire cost of tuition and parents are required to pay the difference.
